J. Dunbar Bagpipe Maker pioneered the use of Polypenco in the piping industry. They have applied their knowledge of this material and the same innovative spirit to the engineering of their "Imitation Blackwood" Bagpipes. Polypenco pipes are capable of withstanding temperatures, humidity levels and transportation that would severely damage their wood counterparts, while achieving an impressive quality of sound. The P2 is fully combed and beaded with nickel ferrules and imitation ivory projecting mounts and ring caps. The pipes are detailed with the same care devoted to African Blackwood models and are indistinguishable without close inspection. A Dunbar Polypenco pipe chanter is included.
